The Man Behind the Uniform

Born in Frankfurt am Main in 1982 to a German father and British-Austrian mother, Master Samael grew up across Europe - Munich, Paris, Bern, and the UK - absorbing diverse cultures and languages along the way.

After 24 years in the corporate world - co-founding startups, working in ad-tech, and chasing conventional success - he made the decision that changed everything. In 2016, he began training as a professional Dominus under a renowned Hamburg Domina, discovering a vocation that combined psychology, artistry, and genuine human connection.

By late 2018, he had moved to Berlin permanently under the name Master Samael, and in 2024 joined Studio ATRIUM - Berlin's premier BDSM studio led by "der Dominus" Kolja-André Nolte.

Advocacy & Community

Master Samael serves as a board member of BesD e.V. - Germany's professional sex worker advocacy organisation. He is an active voice for sex worker rights, safety standards, and the professionalisation of BDSM services.

He has been featured in major German and international media, including Stern, Die Zeit, Tagesspiegel, Deutschlandfunk Nova, and Berlin Live.

As a workshop facilitator, he teaches aspiring professional dominants the business, ethics, and craft of the profession through his ProDom Academy.

He is also co-founder of KinkyJail.com - Berlin's prison-themed roleplay experience, bringing fantasy incarceration to life in immersive BDSM environments.
